Armed robbery at south Lethbridge pharmacy

LETHBRIDGE, AB – An armed robbery at a south Lethbridge pharmacy is under investigation as police search for two suspects.

It happened at around 9:30am on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Petra Pharmacy along the 1000 block of Mayor Magrath Drive south.

Police say two masked men walked in, brandished a firearm and demanded an employee open the safe.

When the employee refused, the suspects allegedly assaulted him causing non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the first suspect is described as a black male, wearing a black jacket with orange stripes, a baseball cap and black shoes. The second suspect is described as a black male, wearing black clothing, a baseball cap and black shoes. Both were wearing masks.

No surveillance images are available.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Lethbridge Police or Crime Stoppers.
