Recovery efforts are underway after a man fell to his death from the Crowsnest Mountain Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP say they got a call from Emergency Medical Services at about 4:30pm reporting a hiker had fallen.
The 58 year old man from the Czech Republic was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mounties say he was climbing with two friends at the time of the accident.
The man’s name will not be released.
