Taber family receives Century Farm Family recognition

A family who has farmed the same property since 1908 is being recognized by the Municipal District of Taber with the Century Farm Family Award.

Agriculture Service Board Board Chair and Councilor Murray Reynolds presented the Geremia family with a commemorative plaque during the June 5th meeting,

“They are outstanding farmers in the area, and this is truly a well-deserved award,” Reynolds says.

The Municipal District of Taber Century Farm Family Award is presented to families who have spent the past 100 years working on an original farmstead.
