Checkstops in and around Coaldale curb allegedly impaired drivers

Evening checkstops in and around Coaldale helped RCMP and Alberta Sheriffs catch four impaired drivers.

The law enforcement agencies teamed up on April 26 and focused on three areas: Indian Hills Golf Course near Coaldale, 20 Ave and 13 St. in Coaldale and Highway 512 near the Lethbridge Correctional Centre.

More than 200 vehicles were stopped throughout the night, resulting in four immediate roadside sanction fails, five tickets and one warrant being executed.
