There will be two new faces wearing Taber Police Service uniforms in the community.
Last week Taber Police announced the filling of two vacant positions, with Constable Jermaine Forbes and Constable Sean “Rafee” Maiquilla both joining the team. Constable Forbes is the newest member of Taber’s patrol team and Constable Maiquilla will serve on the Regional Community Standards Unit. Both officers are coming to the Taber service with prior experience in nearby communities with Forbes previously serving with the Blood Tribe Police Service and Maiquilla serving with the Medicine Hat Police Service as well as volunteering with The Watch in the City of Lethbridge.

Both officers have previously graduated from post-secondary programs in Lethbridge. Constable Forbes has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Lethbridge and Constable Maiquilla has a diploma in Criminal Justice from Lethbridge College.
