Waterslides, Hungry Hungry Hippo new to the Coaldale Pool and Spray Park in 2024

There will be some new activities for you and your family at the The Coaldale Outdoor Pool and Spray Park this summer.

This year a pair of waterslides are opening at the pool and the water park also has a new addition with the Hungry Hungry Hippo water feature. The new amenities are part of construction approved back in 2022 by town council that also included a new liner and the installation of an accessibility ramp.

According to the town, while the pool and spray park are open as of Monday, June 3rd the Tot Lot will open a week later on Monday, June 10th because “the Hippo got loose and did a bit of damage to the Tot Lot.” According to a statement from town officials, crews are in the middle of completing repairs to the damage and will be open on Monday, June 11th.

More information, including hours of operation and cost, can be found on the town’s website.
