Rent in Lethbridge continued to trend upward according to the latest National Rent Report.
The findings from Urban Nation and Rentals.ca saw a one-bedroom apartment cost on average $1,417 a month, which is a 20 per cent jump compared to the same average price last year and a two-bedroom on average costs $1,542 a 10.8 per cent year-over-year bump.
Across the province, Calgary saw the cost of rent saw a downtick of 1.1 per cent for a one-bedroom and 2.6 per cent for a two-bedroom. Edmonton saw prices saw a 7.5 per cent bump for a one-bedroom apartment but a 2.6 per cent decrease for a two-bedroom.
