United Way Pull the Bus event set for Friday

Teamwork will be highlighted Friday, during the second annual Pull the Bus workplace campaign kickoff.

According to the United Way Lethbridge and Southwest Alberta, the workplace campaign is an annual initiative where organizations and businesses throughout the community come together and “build their team spirit” through various events and activities, such as the bus pull.

Last year the United Way held the first bus pull event and is said to have seen a a positive showing, with teams from MNP, Rhino Security, and the Original Lethbridge Business Breakfast Club being the 2023 award winners.

Awards being handed out at this year’s event include the Top Fundraising Team, Fastest Time, and Give it their all, with prizes coming from the event sponsors.

The bus pull is being held at noon on Friday, September 20th at the Canadian Tire on the southside and funds raised will go towards supporting initiatives and programs the United Way puts on throughout the southwestern part of the province.
