An annual showcase of some of the best in interior design and innovation from local home builders kicks off this Saturday.
From September 21 to October 6, the Building Industry and Land Development (BILD) Lethbridge Region’s Parade of Homes will give residents the chance to check out 12 homes in six different communities across the city.
The homes were built by four of Lethbridge’s top builders and are in the communities of Blackwolf, Copperwood, Country Meadows, Crossings, Riverstone, and Southbrook.
Attendees can access all the Parade of Homes information on an app and through a website for the event. A map available in the app provides accurate information on how to get to the new homes, as some may not appear on regular mapping apps.
Guests will be able to rate and comment on their favourite homes by using the app. Feedback will be used for BILD’s Award of Excellence of Housing category ‘Parade of Homes People’s Choice Award’ for the 2024 awards ceremony.
Additionally, visitors can enter a draw to win a backyard prize package valued at over $3,000 by scanning a unique QR code at each parade home.
“Your dream home is just a visit away,” says BILD’s executive officer Bridget Mearns.
“Whether you’re searching for a brand-new home or simply looking for inspiration, there’s always something unique to explore. I’m excited to showcase the quality and variety on display in the 2024 Parade of Homes. With such diverse options, there truly is something for everyone!”
The show home hours are as follows:
- Saturdays & Sundays: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Mondays through Fridays: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
