Alberta Motor Association hosting electric vehicle expo on Saturday

Electric vehicles (EVs) will be in focus at a Lethbridge event this weekend.

On Saturday, October 5, the Alberta Motor Association (AMA) hosts the Great EV Adventure and an EV Expo. Both events will be at AMA’s location at 120 Scenic Drive South.

GREAT EV ADVENTURE

The Great EV Adventure will turn Lethbridge’s streets into a giant scavenger hunting ground. The Amazing Race-style event will feature different puzzles and will give participants the chance to win $2,700 in prizes. Prizes include a weekend getaway, a night out, a grocery gift card, and more. The event is on from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Registration is required and can be done at the AMA website.

EV EXPO

The EV Expo is on from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will give attendees the chance to hear from EV experts and learn more about the charged-up vehicles. The AMA will also showcase how it is supporting EV drivers. There will be a food truck and activities for the whole family.

More about the events is available at the AMA website.
