November shines at the Lethbridge Public Library

November is starting to shine at the Lethbridge Public Library. 

On Nov. 5 at 6 p.m., the Main Branch features “Let’s Get Beading: Beaded Poppy Workshop.” In honour of those who fought for Canada, Indigenous Services will be hosting a beaded poppy pin workshop to commemorate Indigenous Veterans Day. Registration is required. 

Tickets for the 2025 Banff Mountain Film Festival go on sale Nov. 12 for in-person purchase at the Main Branch and Crossings Branch.  

On Nov. 23 at 2 p.m., the Main Branch features “Life Skills 101” with Budgeting. Learn the basics of budgeting, ask questions and take home a resource package from this program with Womanspace Resource Centre.  

The Crossings Branch hosts a Fantasy Faire Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. This all-day event features storytime, crafts, tabletop RPG workshops, medieval combat demonstrations and a Maker Market of handmade and artisan wares. 

On Nov. 30 at 11 a.m., the Main Branch hosts an Indigenous Artisan Holiday Market. Do your seasonal shopping, while supporting your local Indigenous artisans and creators this holiday season.
