Lethbridge and District Exhibition announces new food and beverage provider

Lethbridge-based LA Chefs has been announced as the official food and beverage provider for the Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre and other Lethbridge and District Exhibition initiatives and events.

The provider was chosen following a competitive City of Lethbridge-approved Request for Proposal process that was open to all potential food and beverage providers from across the province and beyond.

As part of the new agreement, the provider becomes the exclusive caterer for all events held in the Centre and internally-produced events, including Whoop-Up Days, the Lethbridge and District Pro Rodeo, Ag Expo, the Agri-Food Innovation Expo and Glow Lethbridge. The provider also operates the new concession in the Centre, which opened in August.

“Through the selection process, LA Chefs’ professionalism, creativity and commitment to highlighting the local food community stood out,” says Kim Gallucci, LDE interim CEO. “When people book their events, they can be assured they will receive the finest food and service our city has to offer.”

“Our entire team is truly honoured, excited and most importantly – ready to take on this new challenge,” says Marci Stickel, Sky + Table Event Group owner and CEO. “We look forward to collaborating with the Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre team at this world class venue, providing excellence in event experiences for our community and attracting events from across the country and around the world.”
