This past Sunday, the Lethbridge Badminton Club held its junior in-house singles tournament at Lethbridge Polytechnic, bringing together players, families and badminton enthusiasts for a day of spirited competition.

Level One participants engaged in a team event, featuring a series of badminton-related challenges designed to build skills and teamwork. Meanwhile, Levels Two, Three and Four players competed in singles matches throughout the afternoon.

In total, 83 games were played in an atmosphere of camaraderie and sportsmanship.

“The event was well-received by our members and it was heartwarming to see so many parents, grandparents and family members come out to support the players,” says Head Coach Martin Lawrence. “We’re already looking forward to hosting another tournament early in the New Year.”
