City of Lethbridge service level impacts during the holiday season 

The trio of statutory holidays means the City of Lethbridge will have service level changes. 

Lethbridge 3-1-1 

The Lethbridge 3-1-1 contact centre will be closed December 25, 26 and Jan. 1.  

“We have a 24/7 self-service site available at 311.lethbridge.ca to help with your questions. For urgent issues, a 24-hr trouble line is available by calling 3-1-1. 

City Hall 

City Hall will be closed from Dec. 23-27 and on Jan. 1.

Waste and Recycling 

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1. 

In addition, the Blue Sky Centre will be closed Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. 

Curbside collections scheduled for Dec. 25 are moved to Dec. 28. Curbside collections scheduled for Jan. 1 are moved to Jan. 4. 

Community Animal Services 

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed December 25, 26 and Jan. 1.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog licence payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. 

Transit Service 

There is no transit service Dec. 25. 

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service Dec. 26 and Jan. 1. 

The Lethbridge Transit customer service desk at Park ‘n’ Ride City Centre Station will be closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.

Access-A-Ride 

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will be closed Dec. 25, Thursday, 26 and Jan. 1.

 

Lethbridge Public Library 

Both branches of the Lethbridge Public Library will be closed Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.

The branches will also close early Dec. 24 and Dec. 31 at 4 p.m.
