Lethbridge Police investigating fatal collision

A collision Monday night claimed the life of a 36-year-old man.

The Lethbridge Police Service says just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday, December 23, emergency crews responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV along the 4800 block of 24 Avenue South. The LPS says the motorcycle was going westbound along 24 Avenue South when it collided with the driver’s side of an SUV that was making a left turn to eastbound 24 Avenue.

Police say the motorcycle driver, a 36-year-old man, was pronounced dead on scene. No injuries were reported involving anyone in the SUV.

Police continue to investigate.
