Fire crews contain westside residential fire

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a residential structure fire on Trent Road West at 12:55 a.m. Mar. 9.

Crews from four stations were dispatched, with 25 firefighters responding. Upon arrival, they encountered heavy fire conditions and worked for approximately three hours to contain and fully extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported. Damage is estimated at $390,000 and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

LFES reminds residents of the importance of working smoke alarms and having a home fire escape plan.
