Residential Parking Permits up for renewal

Permits are due for annual renewal, for those Lethbridge residents living in Residential Parking Permit areas.

Permits for Zone 12 – the London Road area – expire May 1, so those residents can now renew to avoid parking violations.

Permits are only required for those streets that have parking time restrictions on them, not all streets.

New permits for 2025/2026 can be collected at the Parking Operations office at 705 5 Avenue South.

To renew an RPP, you will be required to produce:

  • Registration of each vehicle showing register’s name and address.
  • Proof of residency, which could be government-issued I.D., lease agreement, utility bill, etc.

The City of Lethbridge will also plan to issue RPP renewal notification reminders in the Lethbridge Loop app.

Residents in other RPP zones have expiration dates of:

  • Zone 13: June 1
  • Zone 14: July 1
  • Zone 15: Sept. 1

More information on the RPP program, including a map, is available here.
