11th annual Jane’s Walk events happening around Lethbridge this weekend

Over the weekend those who want to take part in the local Jane’s Walk will be able to take a look at the different amenities the city has to visit.

From Friday to Sunday the local pedestrian tour event will explore unseen, under-celebrated and unique areas in Lethbridge including parts of Henderson Lake, Downtown Lethbridge and River Valley.

Friday’s events will include a tour of Henderson Lake called 4 Takes on Henderson Lake, along with a tour of art murals around downtown Lethbridge called Downtown Murals with Darcy Logan.

Saturday’s tours will include Jane’s Ride: More Murals! Cycling Tour and the 13 Street North: Lethbridge’s Streetcar Suburb, which explores the history of streetcars and their role in Canada’s urban development and the Meeting Medicinal Plants in the River Bottom tour and the

Sunday two events is being held, the first is at the newly renovated Whitney Block which participants will need to register for. The second event is called Together We Are Amazing: Groups Who Have and Continue to Build Lethbridge and Canada, highlighting the groups that have helped shape the Lethbridge community.
