Tourism Lethbridge prepares for app launch, season opening of local attractions

Tourism Lethbridge is ready for summer, with not only numerous attractions around the region opening but also the organization’s new app expected to launch.

The local tourism organization is looking for businesses to be featured on their new Explore Lethbridge App, which will launch in June. According to Tourism Lethbridge officials, the app will include experiences highlighting what makes Lethbridge special.

A statement from the organization reads, “Through a variety of self-guided, themed tours and experiences, the app helps users explore local attractions, hidden gems, and unique businesses.”

Along with the marketing opportunity, which will be free for the businesses who are chosen, Tourism Lethbridge is also highlighting the season opening of tourism amenities across the region. These amenities include Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden on May 8th, Fort Whoop-Up on May 15th and Alberta Birds of Prey Centre opens on May 17th.

These amenities range in experiences from highlighting local stories, culture, and the wildlife of the region.
