The YWCA Lethbridge & District Neighourhood Play Program (NPP) provides quality programming to children ages 6 to 12 in various neighbourhoods & outdoor spaces throughout the city of Lethbridge. The program encourages “learning through play” by providing an environment for children to develop their social, physical, and cognitive skills through participation in various activities. 

All of the locations are staffed by trained NPP Leaders, and attendees are supervised at all times during their visit. 

We encourage parents or guardians to equip each attendee with weather-appropriate clothing, shoes, a hat/head covering, snacks, and a water bottle. 

NPP is a no-preregistration, no-fee, drop-in program open to all families. 

The program will run Monday to Thursday until August 14, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

All of our 2025 locations are listed on the website; we have two each on the north side, south side, and west side. 100% no cost, drop-in supervised childcare for kids between 6 & 12.
