Coalbanks Elementary School on the west side now has the same number of portable classrooms as it does regular classrooms.
Two new portables were brought on site Friday morning, bringing the total number of portables to 13 at the Copperwood neighbourhood school.
When the school opened only two years ago, there were about 430 students enroled. That number has now risen to 612.
The new portables will be up and running in a few months and will be used for a music room and an additional Spanish classroom.
