Alberta Health Services is expanding its Toys for Tickets campaign to include Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.
The program gives people who have recently received an AHS-issued parking ticket the opportunity to donate a new, unwrapped toy rather than paying their fine.
It was so successful in Calgary and Edmonton last year that the campaign will now be taking place at both the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
Parking Services will be accepting toy donations as an alternative to paying for tickets issued between November 1st and November 30th.
The value of each toy must be at least $25 and will be accepted until next Friday, December 13 at any AHS parking office.
