Lethbridge Police have concluded a six-week, city-wide project targeting street-level drug traffickers that resulted in the seizure of thousands of doses of drugs, more than 150 criminal charges and two dozen arrests.
This past weekend, Lethbridge Police arrested an impaired driver and issued 46 tickets for traffic violations, as part of an ongoing enforcement project that will continue throughout the summer.
The most recent targeted enforcement operation in Downtown Lethbridge resulted in the 20 criminal charges being laid and over 1,000 doses of meth, fentanyl and cocaine being taken off the street.
Lethbridge Police have charged a 17-year-old male after he allegedly shot directly at the occupants of several vehicles using an airsoft gun resembling a Glock pistol, resulting in vehicle dents and shattered windshields.
