LETHBRIDGE, AB – One person had to be pulled from a basement window as firefighters battled a blaze at a north side home Wednesday night (Feb.3).
Seven units from three fire stations responded, at about 9pm, to the 1400 block of 11th avenue north.
The house was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
A resident of the home, rescued from the basement, was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Structure damage is estimated to be $375,000.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
