TABER, AB – A Taber man is $100,000 richer these days after winning big on a scratch-off lottery ticket.
Wyatt Adams bought a $5 Holiday Treasures ticket at the South Country Co-Op Taber Gas Bar in late December, and scratched it a few days later.
He says he was completely shocked to win, and had to count the zeros over and over again to make sure he was seeing the number right.
Adams says he’s going to fulfill one big dream of his by putting his $100,000 win toward a down payment on a house in Lethbridge.
