Dr. Gary Bowie award being given out by Lethbridge Sport Council

The Lethbridge Sport Council is adding a new Achievement Award Dr. Gary Bowie in recognition of Dr. Gary Bowie’s role in shaping the regional sport landscape.

The Dr. Gary Bowie Sport Event Excellence award will be given to an individual, organization or event to honour their contributions toward the city’s strong reputation for quality event hosting.

Bowie has been involved in the creation and delivery of local sport organizations, programs and facilities since the 1960’s.

Nominations for this year’s Achievement Awards open July 2nd on the Lethbridge Sport Council website.
