Calgary man arrested for impaired driving with kids in B.C. park

RCMP in BC’s Columbia Valley have charged a man from Alberta for driving drunk with kids in his vehicle.

Last Friday, police were called after a man was seen driving shoulder to shoulder through Kootenay National Park and then stopped to throw up on the side of the road.

Officers quickly responded and arrested a 42 year old Calgary man for impaired driving.

Mounties say three children, all under the age of six were with him in the car. The kids were safe and police called their mom to take them home.

The driver of the vehicle blew over the legal limit and RCMP towed and impounded his vehicle. He expected to appear in court at a later date.
