Vehicle involved in north side crash Tuesday was stolen say Lethbridge Police

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Charges have been laid in connection to a two-vehicle crash in north Lethbridge Tuesday night.

It happened at about 8:30pm at the intersection of 13th street north and 6th avenue.

A 28 year old woman, the driver and only occupant of one vehicle, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Lethbridge Police say the other vehicle had been stolen from the Blood Reserve.

Both vehicles were extensively damaged.

22 year old Austin Little Shields has been charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, criminal hit and run, and theft of a motor vehicle.

He was released from custody to appear in court mid-October.
