Two years missing: Police still looking for Marshal Iwaasa

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are not giving up their search for a young man, who was reported missing two years ago today.

Marshal Iwaasa was 26-year old when his family last saw him in Lethbridge on Nov. 17, 2019. He told them he was driving back home to Calgary, but he hasn’t been seen or heard from since that day.

Within the last two years, his burned out pickup truck was found along a remote logging road, located about 150km north of Vancouver. It’s an area that’s been searched multiple times by police with no success. Yet another search is expected to happen in the spring.

Marshal is 5’11”, about 170-pounds with brown eyes, shoulder-length brown hair that’s usually tied back and he had a mustache at the time of his disappearance. He was last seen wearing a green hoodie, black pants, red hi-top shoes and a grey toque.

The LPS says it’s continuing to investigate all leads and tips as they come in. Anyone with information regarding Marshal’s disappearance is urged to get in contact with the LPS or Crime Stoppers.
