Lethbridge-East MLA tasked with strengthening Alberta’s ties with U.S. at upcoming conference

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico is on the books for Lethbridge-East MLA Nathan Neudorf.

He’s set to represent Alberta at the 2021 Council of State Governments National Conference this week.

The forum brings together lawmakers and government leaders from all US states and territories as well as associate members like Alberta.

Neudorf says it’s chance to strengthen Alberta’s ties with member states and advance opportunities for the province.

“Building and fostering these relationships is more important now than ever to ensure Alberta’s economy rebounds and grows. I look forward to working with our U.S. and provincial neighbours to identify new opportunities as we work together to leave behind one of the most challenging times in our history and embrace the future.”

Neudorf will be joined by one public servant.

The conference runs Dec. 1-4.
