EDMONTON, AB – The United Conservative Party’s board has set the date for a vote on Jason Kenney’s leadership.
A number of constituency associations had asked for the review by March 1st, saying they had the support of the 22 associations needed to push for the earlier date.
But the board says it didn’t receive that number of resolutions, so the date has been set for April 9th, 2022.
It’ll be held in Red Deer, but there won’t be any virtual voting for those who can’t make it.
The Premier has been under fire for months for his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, including public health restrictions.
