LETHBRIDGE, AB – A woman from Lethbridge has been arrested, accused of stealing a signifiant amount of money from a vehicle.
Lethbridge Police say on January 11th, a car was parked along 7th Street South with a bag inside containing $12,000 in cash.
LPS had released some video surveillance soon after with the hope that someone would have details on the suspect.
A few days later, security at Park Place Mall went to check out some suspicious activity and recognized the person matched the description of the suspect in the video.
The woman was arrested and police say portion of that stolen money was recovered.
Trisha Across The Mountain, 41 of Lethbridge, is charged with theft and being in possession of stolen property. As of Saturday, she was still in jail, awaiting a release hearing.
