Severe Thunderstorm WATCH issued for Lethbridge, Taber, Milk River, Claresholm, Stavely, Okotoks, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Brooks areas.
Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
Thunderstorms have developed along the foothills and will continue to move east this afternoon. Some of these thunderstorms may become severe. Watches may need to be expanded later in the day.
