Police Chief Rob Davis resigns to pursue new position in Ontario

Lethbridge’s Chief of Police has resigned.

Rob Davis informing City Council and the Lethbridge Police Commission of his decision Monday, saying he’s persuing a new position as Police Chief in his home province of Ontario.

He thanks the Lethbridge Police Commission and City of Lethbridge for giving him the opportunity to lead the service through significant changes, adding he’s excited to return to the area where he grew up and lead the Brantford Police Service as the City of Brantford faces new challenges.

Davis has been serving as Police Chief here in Lethbridge since January 2015.

His last day on the job will be September 30th.

The Lethbridge Police Commission will be starting the process to replace him with details on that to come at a later date.
