Another bear sighting in Fort Macleod has the Town issuing a warning to residents.
The Town saying in a Facebook post Wednesday afternoon (July 10) that a bear was spotted along 30 Street. Fish and Wildlife was brought in to help assess the situation.
Fort Macleod residents are urged to not approach the bear and to keep all garbage locked up, make sure BBQs are clean and to keep dogs on a leash.
Bears were also seen last week near Fort Macleod’s Rodeo Grounds and Ag Complex, and in the nearby River Valley Wilderness park.
