Lethbridge police search for witnesses after 15-year-old hit by vehicle

Lethbridge police are looking for witnesses of a hit and run on Monday. A 15-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle while crossing 23 St westbound on 15 Avenue North around 7:43 a.m. on Oct. 24, according to the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS). Police say the girl was on a marked crosswalk and the driver left the scene heading south. Police say there is no  description of the vehicle available.

“The girl was knocked to the pavement and several vehicles had to swerve around her. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” reads a news release from the LPS.
