A body found in Lethbridge County has been confirmed to be missing 34-year-old Tia Blood from Lethbridge. Coaldale RCMP say one man from Lethbridge is in custody in relation to the ongoing investigation.
Blood was reported missing on Oct. 19 and RCMP say she was found deceased around 5 p.m. on Oct. 24 near Range Road 225 and Township Road 92. Her cause of death has been deemed inconclusive, according to police and the matter remains under investigation.
Hunter Alexander Frank, 20 was arrested in relation to the investigation and faces charges of offering an indignity to human remains and two counts of theft under $5,000
“It is believed that Tia passed away on the night of Oct. 19 or sometime during Oct. 20, 2022,” reads a new release from police. “RCMP are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen a teal green tarp on the west side of Range Road 225, along the fence line, any time after Oct. 19.”
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the disappearance or death of Blood to contact Coaldale RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
