Meth & cocaine seized after police chief makes bust in Taber

Taber Police are reminding residents to report suspicious activity in the community saying it does help in getting drugs off the street.

An example Friday morning (July 19) when the Chair of the Taber Police Commission, Ken Holst, called about suspicious activity near his business.

No constables were available so Chief Graham Abela showed up to investigate and found the suspect had warrants for his arrest.

About five-grams of crystal meth and four-grams of cocaine were also seized.

A 21 year old Taber man was arrested in relation to the incident.
