Coaldale RCMP make arrest after multiple complaints in two day period

Coaldale RCMP have arrested a man after receiving multiple complaints regarding trespassing, mischief, break and enter and theft within the town.

Between March 9th and 11th, police received seven complaints and once investigated realized it was the same individual.

On March 11th, officers conducted a search warrant in Coaldale and located various items believed to be stolen property, and upon further investigation arrested a male.

Laurence Roy, 30, of Coaldale, is being charged with three counts of breaking and entering, three counts of mischief to property, possession of stolen property, and resisting arrest.

Roy was released after a Judicial Interim Hearing and will appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on April 11th, 2023.

Coaldale RCMP are advising residents that if they had specific property stolen between March 9th and 11th, to contact them with the item description and serial number.
