Vendor applications open for Lethbridge Farmers’ Market

Vendors are now being accepted for the annual spring farmers’ market in Lethbridge. The Saturday Market will start at the Lethbridge and District exhibition on June 10 and the downtown market will come back on July 5. Vendors can apply now to ensure they get a spot.

Both markets are free to attend and feature products and showcase the region’s best fresh produce, baked goods and crafts. Last year, nearly 57,000 people attended the market at the Exhibition.

“The Farmers’ Market is a community-building event that connects and supports both local businesses and local producers,” says Mike Warkentin, Lethbridge & District Exhibition CEO. “We’re focused on creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere, where families can wander together and talk directly to the high-quality vendors, all while running into their neighbours and visiting with members of the community. It’s a unique southern Alberta event we are proud to produce.”

The market focuses on produce made, baked or grown in Alberta and showcases divers items made in the region.

“We are very happy to welcome back the downtown Farmers’ Market,” says Emily Chong, Downtown BRZ marketing and communications manager. “This annual event provides so much vibrancy and excitement every summer. It is truly a downtown staple and we are excited to welcome back vendors and attendees!”
