No injuries reported in three incidents on Sunday

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency crews had a busy Sunday as they responded to several calls.

The first was a vehicle fire on the northside at 1:45 p.m on Sunday, April 30th. The fire was put out quickly without spreading to any surrounding buildings and no injuries were reported.

The second was a report of a motor vehicle collision that involved the Servus Sports Centre. Fire and EMS responded at 3:30 p.m. and found a car had collided with the building, causing some damage to the building however, no injuries were reported.

The final incident was at 4:30 p.m., when fire crews and HAZMAT technicians responded to a small fuel leak from a pickup truck on the southside. Crews were able to subdue the situation with minimal impact to the environment. No injuries were reported in this instance as well.

Traffic stop results in the seizure of drugs, weapons

A vehicle has been seized by police following a traffic stop where the driver is alleged to have open alcohol, drugs and weapons in the vehicle.
