Warner resident faces charges after weekend incident

A Warner resident has been arrested and faces multiple charges after a incident on May 13th.

Milk River RCMP responded to an assault in progress involving weapons at a home in the Village of Warner on Saturday, May 13th.

Officers arrived on scene and were able to de-escalate the situation and arrested a 19-year-old male without incident. Police also seized a knife at the scene as evidence and no injuries were reported.

Dalton Carbert, a resident of Warner, has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

After a judicial interim release hearing, Carbert was released with a schedule court appearance in Lethbridge on June 2.
