Residents looking to add a little something to their gardens or lawn will be able to pick up free compost over the next week.
The first compost pick up event is on June 3, at the Enmax Centre east parking lot from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., or until supplies run out.
The second event will be on June 8, this time at the Casa parking lot from 4 to 8 p.m., or until supplies run out.
The compost is free for residents and the City of Lethbridge recommends bringing your own shovels, gloves and containers. Households are also limited to 40 litres of compost.
The complimentary compost is part of the Curbside Organics Program with the city and there will be scheduled events throughout the year for residents to pick up compost.
