The Town of Coaldale is asking for the publics help in designing the town’s new All-Wheel Skatepark. Until July 15th the town has an online questionnaire open, where residents and those interested can go and give their input.
The questions included range from asking about riding ability and experience, whether it be skateboards, bikes or rollerblades, to the different terrain and amenities the park should include.
In a post on Facebook Mayor Jack Van Rijn says funding for the project will be a partnership between the municipality and the Coaldale Kinsmen Foundation.
“Coaldale Kinsmen have committed $400,000 towards this project which will be matched dollar for dollar by the Town of Coaldale.”
The two groups are also said to be looking into matching grant dollars, bringing the total funding into the $1.2 and $1.5 million mark. The project is slated to start in the spring of 2025.
Both have been remanded into custody, with Belcourt’s next court appearance scheduled for July 5th and Cloutier’s scheduled for July 12th.
