Lethbridge Sport Council holding conference for high school athletes

The Lethbridge Sport Council is holding an event to help high school student athletes develop leadership skills.

The Southern Alberta Sport Leadership Conference is a chance for young athletes, advisers and teachers to come together and explore the various possibilities of leadership in sports, which can include coaching, officiating, volunteering and even hosting events.

The conference will have speakers and will provide a chance for networking, exchanging ideas, and engage in discussions with like-minded peers and professionals.

High school student athletes, advisers, and teachers can attend the event at the Canadian Western Bank Lounge in the ENMAX Centre on September 14th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Any interested residents looking to reserve a spot or want more information can go to the Lethbridge Sport Council website.
