The winner of this year’s Lethbridge & District Exhibition’s 50/50 Lottery will take home over $42,000, with the final jackpot for the second annual Lottery being $84,665.
Funds raised from this year’s 50/50 are going to the YWCA Lethbridge & District, supporting their programs. These programs range from poverty to domestic and sexual violence, youth empowerment, volunteerism and leadership.
When the Lottery launched in February, Chief Executive Officer for the Lethbridge & District Exhibition, Mike Warkentin, said it was exciting to see the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Lotteries return for a second year.
“This program allows us to cultivate our community partnerships and create lasting impact by providing experiences and opportunities across Southern Alberta.”
The winner of this year’s Lottery will be drawn on Tuesday, August 29th, and the winner will be contacted by phone and announced on the exhibition website.
