Lethbridge police investigating armed robbery at north side lounge

Lethbridge Police releasing a surveillance photo of a man suspected of an armed robbery at a north side lounge Sunday night.

It happened just before midnight at the Flamingo, located along the 1700 block of 23rd street north.

A man reportedly approached the bar, brandished a knife and demanded cash.

He made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say he’s described as having olive-coloured skin, is approximately 5’4″ and was wearing a black hoodie, black baggy jogging pants, and a balaclava or face mask.

The investigation is ongoing.
