These much hotter temperatures are starting to dry things out fairly quickly.
Lethbridge County has now issued a Fire Advisory heading into this August long weekend.
Although this is not a ban, the County is asking people to take extra caution when burning while the advisory is in place.
If you are burning, make sure to monitor the fire continuously and put the flames out immediately if the wind happens to pick up.
Lethbridge County notes if the hot and dry conditions last for a while, and all-out ban may have to be considered.
Just this week, fire advisories were issued in both the MD of Pincher Creek and at Waterton Lakes National Park.
