Four arrested, one wanted for targeted armed robbery in Lethbridge

Five men are facing charges connected to an incident where two people were robbed at gunpoint in a Lethbridge hotel room in October.

Police responded to the 2000 block of 7 Ave. S on Oct. 30 after reports of a group of men committing armed robbery.

“The victims reported three male subjects, who were masked, forced their way into the room, demanded money and tied them up. An undisclosed amount was initially e-transferred before the male victim was forced into a cab and taken to a nearby bank where further cash was withdrawn and turned over to the subject,” reads a news release from the Lethbridge Police Service. “The victims were assaulted and additional property was stolen from the hotel room before the subjects fled the area. This was a targeted incident.”

Police say the information was not released sooner for investigative reasons.  After an extensive investigation, five men were identified and four have been arrested.

Marvin Blake Weasel Head, 39, of the Blood Reserve, is wanted on warrants for break and enter commit robbery, robbery, kidnapping, extortion, using an imitation firearm while committing an offence, being disguised while committing an offence, sexual assault, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.

Fabian Leon Starkas Chief Body-Beebe, 28, of the Blood Reserve,  Deaken Daychief, 21, of Lethbridge, Adam Eric Sebok, 30, of Lethbridge, and Charles William Good Striker, 37, of Calgary have been arrested facing the same charges as Weasel Head.

Daychief, Sebok and Good Striker have been remanded in custody and Chief Body-Beebe has been released with conditions. Sebok and Chief Body-Beebe are scheduled to appear in court December 11, Daychief on December 18 and Good Striker on December 22.

Police ask anyone with information that could help locate Weasel Head to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
