Meet Santa, Mrs. Claus and friends this weekend in Taber

Santa will be making his way to Taber on Saturday for the Taber Fire Department’s Lights Ablaze event.

Santa will be leaving the sleigh at home in the North Pole for one night only and will be chauffeured around by the Taber Fire Department in one of their trucks. Residents can meet and greet with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and all their friends at schools in the area.

Santa, Mrs. Claus and their friends will be at various locations on Saturday, Dec. 16, including a drive-by for residents at both Clearview Lodge and Lindenview at 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., respectively.

The first of four stops will be at L.T. Westlake School starting around 4:45 p.m., then D.A Ferguson and W.R. Meyers Schools at 5:30 p.m., Taber Christian School at 6:30 p.m., and the final stop at St.Mary’s School at 7:30 p.m.

The locations will also have some hot chocolate for those interested and the Taber Fire Department says the times are approximate as it depends on the crowds at each location, but residents can keep up to date on the FD’s Facebook page on Saturday.

More information can also be found on the Town of Taber website.
